If I had knit, or in my case, crocheted, because I never learned to cast on, and then undone it all, well, I would be bereft. With this squirrelly jute, all I have is a mantra I say as I work with each crinkled yard. No, I am not going to share the entire mantra, but it begins, Stupid, stupid, stupid jute...Suzanne Thompsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11380056667924750347noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4253656899859621120.post-44921901480309044582013-01-03T23:49:37.910-05:002013-01-03T23:49:37.910-05:00I know - jujubees! I put some of it in water and the smell just about knocked me for a loop. It also changed form and looked like a big bunch of spider webs. After I hung it out to dry, it finally lost the smell after about a week. So now, I don't know what to do with the stuff. I really wanted to dye it, but I can't take that smell again.
